Title: hq2x for Vampyre
Post by: jdarling on 24 October 2007, 15:13:11
Hey Galf, was going through my hard drive and noticed my version of hq2x for Vampyre.  Since you helped me fix the code in the first place, was wondering if you wanted to include it in Vampyre as a feature.  Latest version can be downloaded at: http://www.eonclash.com/PGD/hq2x.zip (http://www.eonclash.com/PGD/hq2x.zip)

My little contribution back for such a great lib :)

Thanks Jeremy, I'll add it to Extras dir soon.
Any plans on converting hq4x as well?
I've been using them both as cmd line executables in editor of one of my games
and it would be great to have them both as native Pascal code.

I've thought of converting 3 and 4, but am not sure what the demand would be for them.  Not to mention that 2x was "fun" enough LOL.

Well, I'll be interested in them ;)
Maybe I could translate them myself but I don't have that much free time anymore.
How long did it take you to convert 2x version?

Start to finish was maybe 8 hours over 3 days.  I have a few things that might allow me some time later this week to take a look at 3x and 4x.  Since they build on one another I'll start at 3x when I get some time.

That would be great  ;)
I've just added hq2x to Extras directory (SVN) and build a new demo.
