Title: Excellent work
Post by: Bacterius on 15 June 2012, 07:07:59
Hello,
I just had to sign up to thank the developers who devoted their time to creating this amazing library! I needed a down-to-earth way to read pixels of high-dynamic-range images in Free Pascal (in floating-point DDS format) and couldn't find an easy way to do so without going through complicated hoops involving different languages - until I found Vampyre Imaging. Installation was surprisingly painless (I just had to remove the %target% compiler switch as I had a x64 compiler) and it worked perfectly! The library is so well thought-out I did not even need to read the documentation. I will certainly be using this library a lot in my future projects and will recommend it whenever applicable.

Thanks again :)

Glad to hear that  :)
Unfortunately, there is just one developer with limited time  :(

I've just got my First Texture - absolutely stunning - couldn't have done it without the amazing Vampyre. The same Lazarus pascal code works identically in Ubuntu and Windows 8.
Thank you thank you thank you.
