As stated in the previous development progress topic main addition
are new file formats.

- New image file format support:
GIF (native),
TIFF (libtiff),
PSD (native).

BTC (block truncation coding).
- File format compatibility fixes (for BMP, JPEG, and DDS)
and platform/compiler support fixes (
