Selecting Layers of an psd file

Hi,
I would like to write a tool which saves the layers of an psd file into single jpeg files.
The doc says that Imaging doesn't load any layer information, so it will be of no help for me and my task, right?
Does anybody knows about a tool which could help?

Hi,
yes Imaging currently doesn't load any layer related info from PSD files.
I remember some newer version of GraphicEx library loaded layers (version II.1.16 had this, note that the version on the official homepage is too old).
